ATF Guidelines
1. Is it legal for me to build my own firearm?
In short, yes. If you can legally own a firearm, you can legally build a firearm as long as
you do not transfer it.
The ATF has more information on this subject.
2. Do I have to register a firearm I built for myself?
Federal registration is not required. State laws may require it. The ATF does recommend that you
mark your firearm with your name, city and state. NOTE: Building a Short Barreled Rifle
requires prior ATF approval and payment of a $200 Tax.
NOTE: We make every effort to abide by the regulations of the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and
Firearms. Please understand that we are not the BATF nor are we lawyers. It is the customer's
responsibility to ensure that their application of these products fall within BATF guidelines and
local state laws. We do not encourage anyone to perform illegal activities with these products.
Since we are not currently a FFL holder, we will not sell finished receivers under any
circumstances nor will we accept finished receivers.
Privacy and Security
1. Do you share your customer information with others?
No, we will not sell or share your information with anyone, unless required by law.
2. Is it safe to enter my credit card information?
Yes. We use a secure shopping cart program. Credit Card details are collected using a SSL
secured server and processed manually. You will be billed within 24 hours prior to shipping.
Payment and Shipping
1. What payment methods do you accept?
We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover, American Express, and Money Orders.
For security reasons, the billing address and ZIP code that you provide with your order must match
the billing address and ZIP code registered to the card used for payment. Please contact your card issuer if
you have questions about the Address Verification System (AVS).
2. Do you charge Sales Tax?
We collect Sales Tax on orders shipped to Indiana addresses.
3. How fast will I receive my order?
We generally ship within three business days of receiving an order. We ship via USPS Priority Mail for
most orders. For orders over $50 value, we assume you would like Insurance and you should instruct
us otherwise. For small items ordered alone (rivets, springs, etc), we will generally ship via USPS First Class
Mail.
4. How much does shipping cost?
We calculate shipping costs based on weight, distance, and insurance value using the
USPS Postage Rate Calculator. Handling is
generally ~$2. The shopping cart estimates shipping charges, but final calculations are
made prior to billing. The minimum shipping charge is $6.50.
5. Do you provide Tracking Information?
For most orders we are able to provide Delivery Confirmation service, which includes some
tracking information, updated nightly. It will not provide an expected delivery date.
6. I prefer to have deliveries by a different carrier, like FedEx or UPS. Can you work with them?
We ship via USPS. If you are not able to have your order delivered by USPS, there will be a $15 handling charge
for using a different carrier.
7. Can you ship this part to me outside the US?
We do not export parts or products under any circumstances.
Returns and Exchanges
1. Can I return an item I purchased?
There are no returns on any custom parts. Please contact us if you ordered the wrong part. Returns must be in their
original condition within 30 days of purchase. There is a 10% restocking fee, with a minimum charge of $15.
2. This item doesn't seem to fit with my other parts. Can I exchange it?
In most cases there is no need to exchange a part. Call us and we'll help you make the tweaks and
adjustments for parts to fit. Please note that our parts are designed to work with each other and with original
parts. We cannot ensure our parts work with other vendors, or vice versa.
3. I paid by check or money order, and now I need the money back. How will I get my refund?
We need to be sure that the funds have cleared. There is a 21-day hold on checks and money orders should a refund
be required.
